Emma Peereboom

Having great interest in the working mechanisms of the immune system as well as organ transplantation, Emma Peereboom finished her Masters studies Biomedical Sciences this year with a project on the role of memory T-helper cells in transplantation in the group dr. Eric Spierings at the Center of Translational Immunology in the University Medical Center of Utrecht, the Netherlands. After graduating cum laude from Leiden University, the Netherlands, she recently started her PhD in the same department. Here, she works on the role of T-helper cells in transplantation, looking into topics including epitopes and immunogenicity models such as PIRCHE.
